The camp will be compliant with the exacting standards of the Oil and Gas industry, not least in environmental protection, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and health and safety (H&S). ACS has numerous long-standing relationships with companies throughout the oil and gas sector and its team of staff is fully up to date with their requirements.
In particular, it is through the longstanding community relations that ACS has enjoyed with the Turkana tribe that the company was able to lease the land. Central to the development of the Lokichar Business Centre are numerous community projects that will guarantee the protection of local culture, as well as ensuring that the Turkana benefit from the site.
